Steiner Communications was founded in 1998 by Walter Steiner and quickly gained an excellent reputation as a highly competent, straightforward, and effective agency. Steiner Communications is a member of GIRAS, the Society of Investor Relations Agencies in Switzerland.

Walter Steiner graduated from the University of Florence in 1977 with a degree in economics. This was followed by journalistic roles at the AWP news agency and Handelszeitung newspaper, where he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief in 1981. From 1989 onwards, Walter Steiner was managing director of various financial communications agencies.
