Steiner Communications

A particular challenge when developing an equity story is to avoid demonstrating potential by only focusing on the past; an equity story should also make readers curious and catch their imagination.

Profile

Steiner Communications is an independent corporate and financial communications consultant. Founded in 1998, the company quickly established a leading reputation as a highly competent agency providing uncomplicated, outstanding services. Steiner Communications is a member of the Swiss Society of Investor Relations Agencies (GIRAS).

Walter Steiner was born in 1951 and completed his degree in Economics at the University of Florence in 1977. Having finished his studies, he decided to pursue a career in journalism, joining the AWP news agency before moving on to the Handelszeitung newspaper, where he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief in 1981. Walter Steiner moved to the Zurich-based PR agency Trimedia International in 1989, assuming responsibility for financial and investor relations. From 1992 to 1998, he was CEO of the financial communication agencies Eurocom and Wirz Investor Relations.

It is not uncommon for in-house project managers to nip promising creative ideas in the bud. These ideas don’t even make it through to upper management, where they would perhaps be welcomed.

Sustainability communications

  • Development of customised sustainability strategies in line with the corporate strategy
  • Definition and prioritisation of the stakeholders and their requirements
  • Audit of the existing ESG-portfolio (environment, social, governance)

  • Conception of sustainabiity reports taking into account the following points:

    • Targets of the sustainability communications
    • Company size
